We want to provide you with the most effective sales brochure possible. The following guidelines are critical in helping us do just that-and they'll make your job preparation easier!
Would you like us to design the brochure for you? We can do that too. Contact us to find out more.
Layout: The Basics
Please provide us with as much information as possible to enable us to give you just what you're looking for.
- Plan on an average of 4–6 photos per page. This permits good-sized photos as well as readable type.
- Indicate any photos you would like on the front and/or back covers.
- Also indicate whether or not you would like to repeat the cover photos inside the brochure.
- If you would like certain photos to be larger than others, please specify your size preferences by indicating small, medium, or large on your caption list.
- If your photos do not have captions, please note sizing information on a separate sheet of paper.
- If you would like your layout to be similar to previous jobs, or if you would prefer something different, make a note of it. If you have a particular style in mind, please provide us with samples for reference.
Fonts (Type Styles)
- Type styles play an important part in the look and success of your brochure.
- Please indicate if you would like to use a specific style (be sure to include a sample), or if we may use our best judgment. If we've designed brochures for you in the past, please indicate whether you would like us to use the same type styles as before.

In a basic layout, photos are set apart; for instance, along the sides of the brochure. Copy is typically placed together in the center. (See Basic Layout, below.)
