Printout
In order for us to produce a brochure that looks like the one you're expecting, it is important to include a current composite printout of your file.
Fonts (Type Styles)
Send a copy of all fonts used in your brochure, including those used in your graphic files. For Type I fonts, send both the screen and printer fonts. For True Type fonts, we need only one.
Graphic Files
Be sure to include all graphic images used in your brochure. In PageMaker files, please link your graphics instead of embedding them. To do this, answer "no" when the program informs you of the size of the imported file and asks if you want to include it. After completing your brochure, please check your links directory and include a copy of all files listed. We work with EPS and TIFF files.
Color
Please be consistent when building the color for your brochure. On 4-color jobs, make sure the color builds in your page layout program are built in CMYK process. The graphic files need to include the same names and color builds so they have the same appearance when printed. Don't be surprised if they look different on your screen.
Trapping
For best results, please let our experienced professionals handle the trapping on your project.
Bleeds
Any image or background color of your brochure that goes to the edge of the paper needs to extend past the edge at least 1/8" (.125"). This prevents the edge of the paper from showing when it is trimmed.
